Мистецький проєкт "Кола" є частиною ініціативи "Заради Листа", яка звертає увагу на трагедію українських родин, що переживають біль через полон своїх близьких. Через образи, що втілюють біль, втрату та надію, цей проєкт висловлює підтримку дружинам та родичам полонених, а також закликає до виконання міжнародних норм, зокрема, статті 71 Женевської конвенції, що гарантує право на листування для полонених.
Це не просто серія портретів — це заклик до дії, визнання людяності та необхідності підтримувати зв'язок з тими, хто не може бути поруч, але чия присутність відчувається у кожному кроці. Всі роботи є свідченням мужності, стійкості і безмежної віри, що дозволяє боротися за своїх рідних навіть у найтемніші часи.
"Кола" використовує портрети дружин та родичів полонених, що знаходяться на території країни-агресора, Росії. Фотографії були створені відомою українською фотографинею @olenamorozova.art та стали основою для колажів, виготовлених 21 мисткинею з резиденції @cutout.festival та спільноти #cutoutlovers.
Цей проєкт — не лише мистецтво, але й звернення до міжнародних організацій та всього світу, щоб полонені мали можливість листуватися зі своїми рідними, адже це їхнє право за міжнародним правом.
Позиція: Ми, мисткині, виражаємо свою підтримку полоненим і їхнім родинам, і вимагаємо від @icrc забезпечити реалізацію права на листування, гарантованого Женевською конвенцією.
Цілі виставок: Зробити можливим листування українських полонених, дати їм можливість відчувати підтримку, надію та зв'язок з рідними.

The "Circles" art project is part of the "For the Sake of the Letter" initiative, which brings attention to the tragedy of Ukrainian families who are suffering from the captivity of their loved ones. Through images that embody pain, loss, and hope, this project expresses support for the wives and relatives of the imprisoned and calls for the implementation of international norms, particularly Article 71 of the Geneva Convention, which guarantees the right to correspondence for prisoners of war.
